VANCOUVER PARASAILING

YOU’VE GOT QUESTIONS? WE’VE GOT ANSWERS

We’re sure you have questions about Vancouver Parasail, the hottest parasailing destination in the Fraser Valley. Below you can find frequently asked questions with answers if you don’t find your answer here reach out and we’ll take care of all your questions and concerns about parasailing vancouver.

When are you open?

Weekdays 10am-9pm and Weekends 8am-9pm

Who can Fly?

available for ages 5-99, and we are also a wheel-chair accessible activity!

How many people can fly at one time?

We offer single-person with a minimum weight of 140 pounds, or doubles/triples with a maximum weight of 400-450 pounds combined.  Also we have to factor in the wind and weather for the day; that might limit some of those options.

Can you dip us?

All of our flights are done from the ORCA Parasailer Boat, that winches you out and back into the boat safely and dry, unless you want us to Dip you; we can do this if the weather is appropriate.

What should I wear?

Wear something comfortable, if it is hot out a swim suit is fine, and if the weather is a little cooler then a sweater and/or a windbreaker is best.  We recommend that you do not wear a hat as it will probably fly off, but sunglasses are usually ok at your own risk of course though.

Can I take pictures?

Yes of course you can take pictures from the boat while remaining seated, or if you dare to take your personal phone up with you during the flight you can; keep in mind that if you drop your phone it is gone thou!  So we recommend our GoPro footage at a cost of $40 per un-edited SD card.

Can I take my belongings on the boat?

We ask that you pack light, only bring a water bottle and/or a small snack with you; as well as possibly a towel should you want to ‘get-dipped!’  Keep in mind that anything you bring on the boat could get wet.

How long is the Charter?

With 5 or less people it will be up to 30 minutes of a Boat Ride with up to 10 minutes of flight.  With 6-10 people, it will be up to 60 minutes of a Boat Ride with up to 10 minutes of flight.  Always make sure that you arrive 30 minutes before your charter begins, otherwise the Charter will have to start without you, and you will be issued a Weekday Gift Certificate to have the option to come back at another time to go for a flight.

Can other people come on the boat that are not going Parasailing to watch?

Yes we encourage grandparents and moms/dads to come out on the Boat for a ride even if they are not flying, to enjoy the experience with the rest of the group.  This is only available if there is room on the boat for that Charter; we can only put a maximum of 10 passengers on the boat.  We charge $40/Person for non-flyers.

Tips for the Captain/Crew

Please remember that it is customary in the Parasail Industry to Tip the Captain and Crew if you had a good experience.  We have the options of: e-transfer, Debit/Credit Card, or Cash.  Remember the best ‘Tip’ you can give is telling all of your friends and family about how great of a time that you had so that hopefully they want to come as well!

What if it rains or gets windy?

If it is raining, we are grounded until the rain stops for at least 30 minutes, with a further clear sky flight window of 60-90 mins predicted.  If we are grounded, then it is up to the Captain if we are grounded temporarily on ‘standby’, or gorunded for the remainder of the day.

What is the Cancellation Fee?

We offer Free Reservations, so if your plans change or the weather changes, please just call or email us, and let us know so that we can offer that space to another group.
